Margaret Krakowiak was born in Buffalo NY, moved to Nashville in the early 1980s and still calls it home. She has been creating art for many years, exploring different mediums along the way. Her current medium is Linoleum and Woodcut Printmaking.
Margaret’s sculptural works have been in exhibitions including The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC; the Tennessee State Museum; the Parthenon in Nashville; and the Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt. One of her pieces is in the permanent collection of the Brooks Museum Memphis TN.
She served on the board of directors for the Visual Artists Alliance of Nashville (VAAN).
